In the aftermath of the 2008/2009 recession, the EQR development team acquired a large site on Park Avenue at 28th Street. Formulated as a joint venture with public home builder, Toll Brothers, the project was co-developed as both a residential condominium and rental property. Designed by renowned Pritzker Prize winning architect, Christian de Porzamparc, the Prism development is an extraordinary architectural execution with sloping exterior walls of glass curtainwall. Amenities include indoor swimming pool, children’s play room, fitness center, spin cycle room, screening room, community/work share space. On 28th Street, an upscale wine bar/restaurant was secured – Tarrallucci E Vino and offering significant activation and an amenity for the building. In addition, the corner retail was leased to Pret A Manger restaurant.
