In conjunction with our partner, the Lynxs Group of Austin, Texas, Ceres acquired the Alaska CargoPort which is an air cargo and logistics facility located on the Ted Stevens International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska. The facility is comprised of 110,000 sf of warehouse/flex office space and 10 air freighter “hardstands” where cargo is off loaded and maintenance/refueling of aircraft takes place on behalf of tenants including UPS, Polar/Atlas, Amazon and DHL. Ceres Capital Partners is a major investor in the managing member/sponsor and also arranged for equity and debt financing for the acquisition. Total capitalization of the CargoPort is $15.2 MM.
